2025年5月25日から6月1日にかけて、第25回目となる原始のアート祭「アートでたんぼ2025」が、恒例のゆるやかなペースで幕を開け、炎とともに盛大にフィナーレを迎えました。

私といえば、終了の3日前に、ひっそりと「モノリス in アートでたんぼ」と題したパネル作品を設置。炎上パフォーマンスを予想し、設置場所を選びました。作品は3日間、倒れることもなく、しっかりと耐えてくれました。

酷暑の影響で稲作が困難になるという国際的な情勢も気になりますが、それでも、実りの秋が無事に迎えられることを願っています。

From May 25 to June 1, 2025, the 25th edition of the primal art festival Art de Tanbo 2025 unfolded at its usual relaxed pace, and came to a grand finale—lit up in flames, as always.

As for me, I quietly installed a panel piece titled Monolith in Art de Tanbo three days before the end, carefully choosing a spot with the upcoming fire performance in mind. The piece held up well for all three days without falling over.

With growing global concerns about how extreme heat may make rice farming more difficult, I can’t help but worry—but still, I hope we’ll be able to welcome a fruitful autumn.rvest this autumn.
